Sonia Simonazzi, bassoon player, and music researcher and
educator
Sonia Simonazzi created and developed an innovative
method to help children from age 3 to 10 to approach music
(called RITMIA) and published a few books on the subject of
music education. Her research work was presented in August 2002 at
the Early Childhood Commission Conference held in Copenhagen by
the International Society for Music Education (ISME), she was
selected as an expert for 3-yr. MUS-E International project
(Musica Europa promoted and started in Italy by Yehudi Menuhin
International Foundation (Brussles) in collaboration with the
EEC, integrating music, culture & other art forms.
